Lighting

Light Switches

5 wall switches (1st floor)

1Entrance (inside & outside) / hallway …… entrance hall wall

Bedrooms have no wall switches. Use the lighting remote control placed in each room.

Press any of 1–3 to start. If it doesn't warm up or cool down, check the mode, set temperature and fan speed.

Hot Water

Hot Water (Water Heater)

One panel controls hot water for the bath, washroom and kitchen.

How to use

1運転 …… power ON/OFF (green lamp = ON)
2▲▽ …… hot-water temperature

No hot water? Check that the 運転 lamp is on.

Toilet

1Turn the lever on the tank to flush (大 full ／小 light)

A plunger is available in the toilet room in case of clogging.

Please flush used toilet paper down the toilet Toilet paper in Japan dissolves in water. Please do not put it in the bin — flush it down the toilet.

Washer & Dryer

Washer-Dryer

A drum-type machine that washes and dries. Only 3 buttons.

2洗乾切替 …… switch between wash only / wash & dry
3スタート Start / pause

Detergent: put one gel ball (on top of the machine) under the laundry. Keep gel balls away from children.

TV & Nintendo Switch

TV & Games

Japanese terrestrial (broadcast) TV channels are NOT available. The TV is for internet streaming only. Apps such as TVer, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube are installed — please enjoy those instead.

Other Equipment

One towel set per person

One face towel and one bath towel per guest — also for multi-night stays. Please wash & dry them with the washer-dryer.

Blankets for cold nights

Stored in the 2nd-floor closet. Help yourself.

Power suddenly off? (Breaker)

There are 8 switches — check that all point up; flip up any that are down. The breaker is on the wall at the back of the kitchen, above the washer. Contact us if that doesn't fix it.

Baby crib

Please set it up yourself and check it is safe. Don't forget to lock the casters.

When cooking, please use the kitchen exhaust fan. For garbage sorting, see the House Rules.
